General remarks

I will make sure that each and every of you will be able to study and possibly pass the exam by remote if necessary, unless different guidelines are given by the University. From your part, you will need to follow the development of the course without accumulating any undone work. Make sure you devote some time each and every day to the assigned applications (say, at least 30 minutes).

The homework and assigned researches in a lesson must be completed before the day of next week lesson. When done, each of you needs to send me (use the course group or, in case of privacy, my email: do not use other means.) name, id and 1 (only one) link to the homework, within the next due date. An average of the homework performances will determine the outcome of the "oral" exam. (You can eventually integrate your homework with additional researches, if you want to and that extra work will be appreciated, especially if pertinent and original.) A "discontinuity penalty" applies, if the weekly homework is not handed.
Apart the (possible) accumulated penalties, in any case, all the assignments must be done as prerequisite for the oral exam.

Example of subjective evaluation to compute the final grade:

Final grade =  ("Oral" exam grade + "Written" exam grade) / 2 - Discontinuity Penalties

-1 penalty may be due to the following reasons (for each due weekly homework): homework not done within the due date, link not sent in due time, link not associated with a student name, link not working or wrong (double check the link before sending it), link not sent in the course group or to my email. In general, any time that a weekly homework cannot be easily found and uniquely attributed and graded, a "discontinuity penalty" (-1) applies. Possible penalties can be removed only attending the course again, next year (and doing again all the assigned homework in time).

For specific matters of no general interest for the group, contact me on whatsapp or email directly, if needed. Do not ask me to make personal exceptions. Do not make excuses.

 - Homework submission -

For each homework there is a "due date". Before the due date, when the homework is finished, send a message
to the course group (or to my email) in this form:

    your name, id, link complete to your homework [ 1 link only please! ] (this should be in your own blog, or wherever reachable)

Do not send the homework by other means. If for any reason (not due to the instructor) the homework cannot be graded a discontinuity penalty may apply (-1 from overall final grade).


For code applications/programs use the following:

If it's some short snippet or demo put online the actual code, because I cannot obviously rewrite the code from screenshots to try it out.

If, instead, is a non trivial or larger program, zip the entire solution folder and place it on google drive. Refer to it using a shared link. File name should contain your name.
It must be ready to run, without issues.

(If you wish, you can make some explanatory optional video (better if with some verbal explanations) with the most crucial parts of source code explained on the page.)
